The First Born Saga introduces a new myth for myth itself. Debuting with BEING WERE, award winning poet, C.C. Guice, began weaving a flawless web of spellbinding possibilities, unveiling the supernatural with an old-world almost pagan bard feel. The author invites you to view the ages through the eyes of myths and legends and see what awaits in the shadows for those souls who dare turn their back to the beckoning light of the afterlife and howl to the heavens that death must wait...
In the beginning, that which is and had always been looked upon the vast void that was, and was not pleased; so it was that the spark of all things, which are and were, was created. Of this spark also rose up the First Father and the First Mother, and from them came that which we are.
Now the First Father and the First Mother came to displease that which had created them, and they were cast down. We that had become of them, however, had not displeased, and were not, therefore, cast down. . . . We remained as we were; in the image of our Creator.
Now that which had created all things, loved all things, and was displeased also that they had fallen from grace, and sought to provide for them a way to redeem themselves.
So it was that we that had become of the First Father and the First Mother became absorbed, viewing this strange punishment the Creator had set down that is being human and those attempts that were made to return to His divine grace. Hence in our fascination we did not yet question what we were. . . .
Many an age passed and we began to wonder at ourselves, being neither limitless as that which had created us, nor so limited as humanity which passed constantly before us.
We called to that which was and had always been, asking of Him, "What then shall we be?" Yet we heard no answer. So it was that we have remained what we were . . . neither Creator nor human, neither angel nor devil, neither animal nor plant, but things ever changing, ever learning. . . and ever listening for an answer. . .

The First Born Saga
By C.C. Guice
BEING WERE and No Ordinary Angel are the only book of The First Born Saga currently available. C.C. Guice is currently working on the third installment in the saga, Myth's Requiem.
What Dreams Remember , also available now, acts as a sort .5 between the first two novels of The First Born Saga. Though a complete tale in its own right it does have ties to the saga. It is a supernatural romance and tells the tale of a young woman, also living in the mid-west who is haunted by vivid and terrible dreams. As she fights desperately to separate her visions from reality she begins to unravel what her subconscious seems to be telling her. Will she wake up and piece together the clues before it is too late to avoid the same horrible fates she relives in her nightmares?
Lastly, C.C. Guice is also compiling a book of Poetry which will be comprised of not only her older, award winning favorites, published in various anthologies and periodicals all over the world over the last 15 years, but also many never before seen in print.
We hope you will continue to stop by her site for further information and purchasing opportunities.
